Bee’s ‘Excellence in Business’ deadline approaches

The deadline is Thursday for nominees in The Modesto Bee’s inaugural Excellence in Business awards, a new program to recognize our community’s most remarkable businesses and their owners by telling their stories and celebrating their contributions.

The program will grant nine awards to area businesses and organizations. One person in the community will receive the Hall of Fame award. Winners will be announced Aug. 5 in The Bee.

A special section highlighting each award recipient will be published Sept. 21, with an awards luncheon to honor and celebrate the honorees the same day.

Excellence in Business will shine a well-earned spotlight on many successful local businesses. And we need your help.
