Vigil is Monday for Modesto boy killed in Stockton wreck

A candlelight vigil will be held Monday for an 8-year-old Modesto boy who was killed in a vehicle accident last week in Stockton.

Isaac John Adams died when the truck he was in went out of control after hitting a guardrail on Highway 99 in Stockton on July 3, according to The Record of Stockton. The driver, Genaro Castellanos, 33, identified as the boy’s father, suffered minor injuries, the newspaper reported.

The vigil will be held at sundown at Woodrow Elementary School at 800 Woodrow Avenue – a few blocks southwest of McHenry and Standiford avenues – in Modesto.
