Shots reportedly fired in north Modesto

Shots were reported being fired late Sunday night in north Modesto, according to the Modesto Police Department.

Nobody was injured and police are investigating, Lt. Scott Blom said. Police didn’t find any of the rounds fired.

Witnesses reported seeing a man get out of the passenger seat of a white, four-door sedan at Woodglen Drive and Woodwind Court just southwest of Pelandale Avenue and Gagos Drive, holding a handgun and firing two or three shots down a street.

They described the man as 25 to 30 years old with dark hair and weighing about 190 pounds, Blom said.
