CHP busy with morning Modesto wrecks

The California Highway Patrol is tending to three accidents in Modesto this morning, all occurring within 30 minutes of each other.

At about 7:45 a.m. at River Road near Highway 132, minor injuries were reported after a collision involving a Cadillac Escalade and a sedan, according to the CHP Web site .

At 8:02 a.m., the CHP responded to a single car on its roof in a field near Tucson and Modoc avenues northeast of the corner of South Carpenter Road and Whitmore Avenue.

At 8:16 a.m., fire and ambulance crews were sent out to Crows Landing Road at Butte Avenue in south Modesto for a report of a traffic collision.
