Modmomsclub.com launches 'Kids in costume' photo contest

Modmomsclub.com, a new Web site for mothers and moms-to-be in the Modesto area, is inviting readers to enter its first photo contest.

Parents and grandparents are encouraged to submit photos of children ages 12 and under in the “Picture: Kids in Costume” contest, which is timed for the Halloween season.

All images must be submitted digitally at this link.

You may submit a maximum of five photos, either simultaneously or separately.

IMPORTANT: When you upload your photos, choose “Contests” as the genre.

To see photos that have already been entered in the contest, go to photos.modbee.com.

Modmomsclub.com is affiliated with modbee.com, and both sites are publications of The Modesto Bee.

All photos submitted for the contest become may be used in any form by The Bee and its Web sites, as stipulated in the user agreement you must acknowledge when submitting your entry or entries.

Submission deadline for the contest is 5 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Bee editors will select 10 semifinalist photos, and the public will vote for the winning entry. The winning photo will be featured on modmomsclub.com, and the winning photographer will receive a family portrait session with a Modesto Bee photographer.

The contest is open to anyone except employees of The Modesto Bee and their immediate families.
