Doctors and etiquette experts constantly flog flip-flops for mistreating the feet.

But they keep pounding the pavement — and they're especially popular with teens. Now, companies are working to rehabilitate the flip-flop's image, by creating stable, supportive versions worth a try. Here's a look at some.
