'Adina's Deck' at Gallo Center

The première of "Adina's Deck," a TV pilot in which characters solve cyberbully problems, will be held at 2 p.m. at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Saturday.

It will include a behind-the-scenes documentary, blooper reel and a live question-and-answer session between the audience members and the four lead actors, director and writer.

"Adina's Deck" was developed, directed and produced by Debbie Heimowitz for her master's thesis at Stanford University. It was written by Jason Azicri, a student at Santa Clara University. Modesto teen Amelia Varni, a student at Central Catholic High School and a member of The Bee's Teens in the Newsroom journalism program, stars in the production.
