Caltrans said it will close the southbound off-ramps on Highway 99 at Highway 140 and G Street in Merced. The No. 2 right lane will also be closed at the 15th Street undercrossing on southbound Highway 99.
The work begins Wednesday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Crews will grind and dig out the pavement in that location.
Motorists should expect 20-minute delays, and alternate routes should be taken when possible.
The agency also said it will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 140 from the San Joaquin River to Lincoln Boulevard.
Work begins Monday, Oct. 4, through Friday, Oct. 8, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.’
Crews will pave the roadway in that location.
Motorists should expect 15-minute delays, and alternate routes should be taken when possible.
All the work is scheduled as listed, but could change based on weather conditions.
