Ryan Randle and Connor Greene helped showcase the depth and versatility of the Merced boys swim team in a meet with Buhach Colony on Friday afternoon.
Greene won the the 50- and 500-freestyle races. Randle captured the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke. Each also contributed to a pair of Merced relay wins as it improved to 2-0 in the Central California Conference with a 103-83 victory.
Kolby Ellett secured Buhach Colony's only individual win with a 53.72 in the 100 free.
As solid as the Merced boys were, the girls swim team dominated BC 128-57.

Allison Miller, Racquel Domant and Erika Jones all won two events for Merced (2-0 CCC) and had a hand in two of the three relay wins.
Paloma Salazar was a multiple-event winner for Buhach Colony (0-1 CCC), capturing the 100- and 200-freestyle races.
SAN LOUIS OBISPO -- The Merced College men's and women's swim teams had a solid opening day at the Cuesta Invitational.
The men's 800 freestyle relay team of Chris Pipes, Justin Carter, Joey Dai and Matt Singh had the best showing with a fourth-place finish. Carter added a sixth-place finish in the 200 backstroke.
Kailey Carter, Beca Dawn, Brittney Wilson and Stevie Wills led the MC women to fourth place in the 200 freestyle relay.
Diver Danielle Taijeron placed fourth in the 1-meter diving competition.
