A slide of rock or mud has occurred on the Highway 140 entrance to Yosemite National Park, the California Highway Patrol reported this morning.
The slide is a half-mile east of the temporary bridges put up in 2006 after a rock slide closed the highway, the CHP said.
Traffic will be controlled through the area until about 1 p.m. while the slide is cleaned up, the CHP said.
There was no further information about the severity of the slide or how long the cleanup will last.
