Two 16-year-old girls were arrested Monday on suspicion of spraying graffiti on a wall, after a witness called officers and reported the incident, according to Merced police.
The incident was reported around 4 p.m. on the bike path near Campus Drive and G Street, according to Lt. Tom Trindad. The cost of the damage is estimated at $450.50.
A witness notified police and led officers to the juveniles, Trindad said.
The girls were arrested and booked into Merced County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of malicious mischief, Trindad said.
