Info: A free encore showing of the faith-based movie "Fireproof" is open to the community. It will be followed by an optional marriage workshop Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost for the workshop is $25 per couple, which includes materials for the workshop, continental breakfast and lunch. Child care will be available for nursery-age children through sixth-graders. Parents should make reservations for child care and bring a sack lunch for their children. Info: At the California Music Educators Association Music Festival, junior and senior high school bands and orchestras from this part of the state will perform for a panel of adjudicators and receive ratings according to their performance ability; conductors also will get feedback from experts. More than 500 students are set to participate in this free event presented by Salida Middle School. For more information, call 545-1633.

Where: Turlock High School cafeteria, 1600 E. Canal Drive

Info: All-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, orange juice, coffee and more. Cost is $7; tickets available at the door or from any Turlock High School band or color guard student. All proceeds will support the Turlock High School band. For more information, call 658-1862

Where: California State University, Stanislaus, main quad

Info: California State University, Stanislaus, alumni are invited to the spring reunion. Put on by the Office of Alumni Affairs, the event will showcase the Turlock campus and includes performing dogs, music, games, food and tours. Highlighting the event will be a performance by Rockin' Ray and the Amazing Skyy Dogs. They are famous for their incredible disc catching and leaping ability, graceful aerobatic skills and jump rope talents. In addition to the Family Fun Zone, the event will include music from student radio station KCSS 91.9 FM, food booths, a "College Row" line of booths featuring each of the university's six colleges, and tours of the campus. The tours will include the new Nora and Hashem Naraghi Hall of Science and the nearly completed Student Recreation Complex. For more information, go to
