A graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, I have been an attorney since 1997.
There are a number of reasons why people want to live in Escalon. By far the most common response is the safe, small town atmosphere we enjoy. Our growth ordinance has been instrumental in maintaining our community standards. Together with quality schools and services, Escalon provides a quality of life difficult to match in the Central Valley. It is not my goal to just maintain the quality of life we enjoy here, but to continue to improve it. Through infrastructure improvements, high quality public service, and a responsive council, our quality of life can be enhanced, and the areas that need attention and improvement - such as traffic flow and railroad disruptions - will be addressed.
With deep roots and a long family history of serving the community, I have tried to continue this tradition by volunteering in various capacities, from rec softball coach to serving as a community member on the most recent City of Escalon General Plan Update Committee and an Ad Hoc Budget Committee. My family and I believe in public service and working to improve our community. As a council member for the City of Escalon, I hope to continue serving the citizens of Escalon.
- I have over 15 years of law enforcement experience prior to becoming a Deputy District Attorney in 2005. As a criminal prosecutor and former police officer, public safety is one of my primary concerns. I am very familiar with programs that work to enhance public safety, and support a cooperative relationship between public safety officers and the community.
