Please list your top three priorities if you are elected to the office you're seeking. You may use up to 50 words per priority. Longer items will be edited to meet the word limit:

  • As an elected official I feel that my responsibility to the city I serve should be to represent the best interests of its citizens. My first priority therefore would be: To continue to mindful of the ways in which our city's revenues are spent by maintaining fiscal responsibility, while continuing to offer our citizens public safety and city services at or above the level we presently enjoy.
  • My second priority would be: To engage the citizens of Oakdale in the decision making process; to discuss, inform and listen to the different views regarding growth, attracting business, safety and the vision for this wonderful city. This can be facilitated by greater participation in the council meetings as well as the upcoming 'Town Hall Meetings" for our General Plan update. I envision a city where we all work together in unity and harmony for the greater good of its citizens.
  • My third priority would be: To provide a safe, thriving, and friendly community environment where family values are preserved as the foundation of our great city, supporting the thesis that families are the basis of a successful society. This can be accomplished in many ways; through a balance of housing and jobs, development of activities within the city for our youth, seniors and families.
