Little things make big difference

I am 14 and have been a Girl Scout since kindergarten. Now I am working on my silver project, as are a couple of friends from my troop. The issue that I am faced with in my project is recycling. The people of our community need to be more aware of the choices we make and how we are affecting future generations.

I suggest that everyone make an effort, no matter how small, to reuse as much as possible. For example, I play soccer for Ajax in Modesto, which requires me to drink a lot of water, and instead of buying bottled water I refill a Nalgene bottle. Everything makes a difference.
