MID hires Modesto native

The Modesto Irrigation District hired Melissa Williams as a public affairs specialist.

Before joining the MID, Williams spent seven years as an account manager with Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn Inc., a public relations and advertising agency in Sacramento. Her experience includes working with such clients as Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the Golden State Warriors, The Sacramento Bee and SureWest Communications.

Williams, a Modesto native, is a graduate of Downey High School and Mo-desto Junior College, and received a bachelor's degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Chico, in May 2000.


Melissa Muncrief of All Ways Mortgage in Modesto completed a commercial lending seminar sponsored by Silver Hill Financial LLC.

The seminar, designed for residential mortgage brokers and loan officers, provides information about the small- balance commercial market for loans from $100,000 to $1.5 million. Through Silver Hill's program, brokers are able to offer streamlined commercial mortgages and provide other opportunities for commercial investors.

A member of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers, Muncrief has been involved in mortgage lending in the Modesto area for more than 15 years.
