8 a.m. to noon homeownership training session:

This four-hour training session for adults only is for individual home buyers who want to be certified so they can qualify for Neighborhood Stabilization Program down payment and rehabilitation funds. A follow-up four hours of training will be needed to complete the certification requirement. This primarily is for middle- and low-income families who need financial assistance to buy their first home. Only those who register by May 10 can attend this training.

Noon to 5 p.m. workshop and homeownership conference:
This five-hour event for homebuyers, real estate investors and community members will include continuous workshops on various homeownership topics. Government agencies, community organizations and business professionals will host informational booths explaining home buying opportunities, funding and services. Families are welcome to attend all or part of this event.
