Turlock's Kramer makes USA team

Turlock High's Kevin Kramer, who will be a junior this coming school year, has been chosen to play for USA Baseball's 16-under team, which will travel to Taichung, Taiwan, this week to compete in the International Baseball Federation's Double-A World Youth Championships Aug. 15-23. Kramer, listed on the roster as a shortstop/ second baseman, survived a tryout process at Cal State Fullerton to be named one of 18 players on the squad.
