SAN BERNARDINO -- Cal State Stanislaus had two good looks at the basket in the final seconds of overtime, but Katie Busi's three-point attempt came up short as San Bernardino State edged the Warriors 46-43 in a low-scoring affair at Coussoulis Arena.
The Warriors (6-4, 1-2 California Collegiate Athletic Association) held San Bernardino scoreless in the final four minutes of regulation to send the game into overtime. San Bernardino is tied atop the conference with San Diego and Cal Poly-Pomona, all at 3-0.
Busi had 10 points and 15 rebounds for her fourth double-double, and Gwendolyn Page grabbed 14 rebounds. The Warriors led 35-34 at 7:15 in the second half, but were outscored 7-0 before rallying in the final few minutes.
The Warriors were averaging 67.3 points, but made just 11 of 53 shots from the floor.
