Five bowlers, each in a different division, earned recognition as a 2008 Bowler of the Year after the citywide roll-off last weekend.

Bill Hamilton rolled his way to the Scratch Men's title after scoring a 1,447 series. He also posted the day's high game, starting with a spare and following with 11 consecutive strikes for a 290 game.

Randi Blomdahl grabbed the Scratch Women's award with her 1,380 set, and she posted the top two women's scores for the day (269 and 264). The Adult Division title was captured by Gene Rojas (1,395).
