Shristy Kumar made sure the Warriors didn't go wanting this year.

The senior from Delhi scored a career-high 25 points in Stanislaus' 85-79 victory over Western Oregon at the Northwest Nazarene Hampton Inn Classic in Nampa, Idaho, on Saturday.

Stanislaus (1-3) led by as much as 19 points late in the first half. The Warriors shot 50 percent from the field in the first half to lead 49-31 at halftime. Three other Warriors scored in double figures.

Kumar made four 3-pointers and was 3 for 3 from the free throw line. She was named to the all-tournament team.

Stanislaus kicks off its California Collegiate Athletic Association schedule Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. with Chico State, followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
