The Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas

NFL owners approved the Oakland Raiders' move to Las Vegas at the league meetings on Monday. The Raiders likely will play two or three more years in the Bay Area before their $1.7 billion stadium near the Las Vegas Strip is ready. Las Vegas, long taboo to the NFL because of its legalized gambling, also is getting an NHL team this fall, the Golden Knights.

Faith, family, football make up Carr brothers’ ‘Chalk Talk’ in Modesto

Citizens of the Raider Nation who flooded Modesto Centre Plaza on Friday night to hear Derek and David Carr talk football got plenty of that, and more. The NFL quarterback brothers – Derek with the Raiders, of course, and David now an NFL Network analyst after playing with the Texans, Panthers, 49ers and Giants – also spoke during the Chalk Talk program about two other F’s that matter even more to them: faith and family.
