NASCAR on Wednesday penalized three members of Nationwide Series driver Brad Keselowski's JR Motorsports team for their involvement in a post-race incident on pit road following Saturday night's Carquest 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Tony Eury Sr., the team's crew chief, was fined $1,000 and placed on probation until June 25.
In addition, crew member Michael Sandlin was suspended for one race, placed on probation until Oct. 15 and fined $1,500 for "failing to follow a directive from a NASCAR official" and for having "inappropriate contact with a NASCAR official during the post-race altercation."
Jordan Allen, another JR Motorsports crew member, has been placed on probation until Oct. 15 and fined $1,500 for the same violations.

Late in the race, Keselowski and driver Denny Hamlin traded hits under caution and crews from both teams confronted each other on pit road immediately after the race.
