Despite not having a win at Lowe's Motor Speedway last season, two-time reigning Cup champion Jimmie Johnson is one of the favorites heading into the 600.
In addition to five wins at Lowe's, Johnson has started from the pole twice and brought home two victories in the track's All-Star event.
Over the last 10 races at the 1.5-mile track in suburban Charlotte, N.C., Johnson has accumulated 1,715 points, more than any other driver. Second on the list is Bobby Labonte with 1,373.
