Tony Eury Sr., crew chief for Brad Keselowski on the No. 88 Busch Series Chevrolets owned by JR Motorsports, and Chad Walter, crew chief for the No. 24 Chevrolets at Hendrick Motorsports, were each fined $10,000 by NASCAR on Wednesday.
Eury and Walter were also placed on probation until Dec. 31.
Threads on the lug nuts on both of those cars had been removed in such a way that the lug nuts did not conform to the NASCAR rule book. The violations were found in inspections before Saturday's race at Texas.
