HAMPTON, Ga. - South Point Racing and Wyler Racing, which each currently field one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team, are considering a merger of operations, The Charlotte Observer and ThatsRacin.com have learned.
South Point fields Chevrolets for driver Brendan Gaughan and is based in Las Vegas. Wyler Racing fields Toyotas for driver Jack Sprague and is based in Mooresville, N.C.

Gaughan is currently 13th in points with two top-five and seven top-10 finishes this season. Sprague is 10th in points with two poles, one win, six top-five and eight top-10 finishes.
