There was no mythical state baseball title for Central Catholic High -- it was selected the CalHiSports.com Division IV team of the year the last two seasons -- but the Raiders (25-6) came close, finishing No. 2 in the final poll behind Washington of Easton (31-3).
Escalon (26-1) finished No. 5 in the same poll.
For softball, Escalon (24-3) ended up at No. 3 in Division IV after winning its first-ever Sac-Joaquin Section title, while section runner-up Patterson (22-3) was No. 5.
In Division V, Southern League softball rivals Le Grand (21-7) and Waterford (16-7) finished No. 3 and No. 15, respectively.
