Manteca offensive lineman Billy Sharmoug was a second-teamer on both lists, and Ripon Christian running back Andrew Brown was selected for the SJS second team.

Folsom quarterback Jake Browning, who set state records with 5,737 yards 75 touchdown passes this season, was the Offensive Player of the Year on both squads.

The Modesto Bee will release its 2013 players of the year for fall sports beginning on Sunday with the Golfer of the Year. The football Player of the Year, along with the rest of the 2013 All-District team, will be announced on Jan. 19.
