We've already had 17 scratches. One of them was Oakdale's Tyler Noon of Oakdale (145), who broke his hand during his Division 4 final last week, a 12-5 win over Joey Howard of Patterson.
Coaches taped up the hand during the first round--not knowing it was broken--and Noon showed some major guts to get through the match.
Other scratches of note included the touted Ponderosa freshman Jimmy Scarr, a 126-pounder who missed weight today.
Also out is Casa Roble sophomore Jake Menshew, one of the favorites at 220. He could have met Oakdale's Zach Fallentine in the quarterfinals.
