Baseball

• WINTER LEAGUE — Rainbow Fields is offering a winter for players 9-under to 14-under. The league will run from Nov. 16 to Dec. 22. All teams are guaranteed nine games. Cost is $650 per team. • BIG MAN CAMP — For boys and girls, Nov. 7 from 1-3 p.m. at the Backyard Sports Academy (formerly Backyard Baseball), 6212 West Main St., Turlock. (209) 669-8921. Coaches clinic from 9 a.m. to noon. Instructors include former Cal State Stanislaus men's coach Keith Larsen, former NBA player Mark McNamara, former pro player Steve Rocha, Columbia assistant men's coach James Blake and former Stanislaus All-CCAA pick Cameron Quick. • OPEN GYM — Open gym for basketball from 6:30-9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Riverbank Community Gymnasium, 3625 Santa Fe. Fee is $2 per night.

• PANTHERS YOUTH BASKETBALL ACADEMY — For 3rd-8th grade boys and girls. Includes drills, conditioning and scrimmaging; 7th-8th grade boys and girls also participate in tournaments. Practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Mark Twain Jr. High School, in Modesto, for 12 weeks. $100 per player includes membership, gym fee and practice tee.
