Modesto High grad Pridmore named WAC softball Pitcher of the Year

San Jose State senior Amanda Pridmore, a graduate of Modesto High, has been named the Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year.

Pridmore (28-9), who has pitched the Spartans to a school- record 41 wins and into today's WAC title game, led the conference in ERA (1.25), strikeouts (88), wins (13) and saves (3).

She's already the school's leader in career wins and single-season wins. She was the WAC Pitcher of the Week five times.
