David Contreras' infield single scored Tomas Donnelly for the game-winning run in Cal State Stanislaus' 5-4 home win Sunday over Chico State.
Donnelly opened the inning with a double and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt. With two outs, Contreras hit a grounder to short that he beat out with a head-first slide, logging the Warriors' third win in their final at-bat during this weekend series.
The No. 23-ranked Warriors (17-5, 10-2 CCAA) won three of four games in the series with No. 16 Chico (13-7, 6-5).
Stanislaus starter Eric Federico (2-1) threw his first complete game of the season, allowing four hits and four runs. The Warriors have now won 12 of their last 14 games and are 8-1 in one-run games.
