Chalk up another win for Riverbank's German Fernandez.
The senior, who was named The Bee's Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year last year, finished the Stanford Invitational's 3.1-mile course with a time of 14 minutes, 42 seconds in the Division II race, 39 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor.
Stephany Uriostegui of Atwater won the Division II girls race with a time of 18:27.
In the Division I boys race, the Davis High team finished second behind Amador Valley of Pleasanton. Victor Vieyra's 16:13 finish was 10th overall to lead the Spartans.

MJC SECOND, at MJC -- The Pirates finished second overall in their host meet, finishing behind Fresno City.
Modesto had champions in three weight classes. Rolando Velasco (141) beat Jon Greenwood of Santa Rosa 8-1, Victor Carazo (174) defeated Fresno City's Shawn Ceremello 7-4, and Ryan Sughrue (184) pinned Fresno City's Dan Righi.
REEDLEY 55, MERCED 28, at Merced -- Tigers quarterback Darius Reynolds put on a show against the Blue Devils. He was responsible for seven touchdowns, six rushing and a 39-yard passing strike, in the rout.
Marquenten Webb had two TD runs for the Blue Devils. Merced's scoring was capped with a 91-yard interception return by Mariposa graduate Kelsey Mankins.
High School Football
SIERRA RIDGE 39, VALLEY CHRISTIAN 0, at North Highlands -- Matthew Collins did it all for the Rams, accounting for four touchdowns in a blowout win over the Lions. Collins ran back a kickoff, rushed in two scores and threw a TD pass. In all, he ran for 163 yards on 11 carries.
FRONTIER 17, ENOCHS 14 (OT), at Johansen -- The Eagles had a 14-7 lead in the second quarter after J.T. Boles' 39-yard touchdown run, but the Titans of Bakersfield tied it later in the quarter. After a scoreless second half, Frontier won it in overtime with Matt Darr's 22-yard field goal.
BRADSHAW CHR. 28, BIG VALLEY CHR. 8, at Sacramento -- Josh Davis' 20-yard scoring run, capped off with Dan Griggs' run for two points, accounted for all the points the Lions scored against the Pride.
High School Water Polo
MODESTO 5TH, at Central California Championships (Turlock) -- The Panthers closed out the tournament with victories over Los Banos and West of Tracy. Erica Austin scored eight goals in the two games, four in the 11-4 win over the Tigers and another four in the fifth-place game against the Wolfpack. Lincoln of Stockton won the tournament.
High School Volleyball
OAKDALE INVITATIONAL, at Oakdale -- Bret Harte defeated host Oakdale 25-20, 25-22 for the championship. Pitman knocked off Johansen in the consolation final.
