Stanislaus County detectives have arrested a 16-year-old on attempted murder and home invasion robbery charges in a southwest Modesto that left two men in critical condition early this afternoon. Investigators are looking for two other suspects.
The shooting occurred inside a home in the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue, just west of Dryden Golf Course, according to a sheriff's department news release.
A roommate returned shortly after 2 p.m. to find the victims inside. The men were transported to different hospitals in the Modesto area, and both are listed in critical condition.
Detectives believe both men were sleeping when one or more people entered and shot them multiple times.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the case, and detectives are looking for two other people: 23-year-old Ketana Davis and 19-year-old Michael Davis, both of Modesto.
Keyana Davis is descived as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Michael Davis is described as 6 feet, five inches tall, 250 poudns with brown eyes and black hair. Sheriff's spokesmans Royjindar Singh said he didn't know if the two are related.
