The Gallo Center's third season kicks off Saturday with a champagne reception and show featuring crooner Paul Anka. And the hits don't stop there. The entire slate of productions and artists planned for 2010-11 is peppered with names and shows recognizable to almost everyone.

Here's just a brief highlighted look at the biggest of the big names that will light up the Gallo Center stage.

"Tap Dogs" — Sept. 18-19: This international dance phenomenon from Australia is a rough, tough, rocking Broadway smash. Six athletic dancers create mesmerizing rhythms and stomp and tap to the vibrant music.

Dana Carvey — Oct. 3: Emmy-winning "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Carvey brings his many faces and musings. On "SNL" from 1986-92, Carvey won fame for such characters as the Church Lady, Garth, the nerdy co-host on "Wayne's World," and Weekend Update's Grumpy Old Man. As popular are his impressions of President George H.W. Bush, H. Ross Perot, Johnny Carson, Regis Philbin and many more.

Loggins & Messina — Oct. 4: The 1970s rock icons are back on the road. Over 35 years since first playing together, Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina are once again on a nationwide tour.

Kenny Rogers — Oct. 7: Rogers is a country icon, having recorded more than 65 albums and sold more than 100 million records. He has drawn fans from rock, pop, soul and country audiences for five decades.

Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt — Oct. 12: Two songwriting giants share the stage. Four-time Grammy Award winner Lovett is equally comfortable in pop, rock, blues and country. Eleven-time Grammy nominee Hiatt melds rock, acoustic, folk, new wave and Mississippi Delta blues.

Joan Osbourne — Oct. 17: Osborne, best known for the pop song "One of Us," has turned her attention to the blues. She appears with Holmes Brothers and Paul Thorn.

John Cleese — Oct. 30: Known for his brilliant humor and classic performances, he was part of the legendary Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Ian Anderson — Nov. 8: After 40 years of leading the band Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson brings his unique flute, voice and acoustic guitar to the Center.
