4 'Screech' laughs
Dustin Diamond, who played "Screech" on "Saved by the Bell" from 1994 to 2000 presents a comedy showcase. Diamond, 32, also appeared on the fifth season of VH-1's "Celebrity Fit Club" in 2007 with "American Idol" finalist Kimberly Locke, country singer Cledus T. Judd and rapper Da Brat.

5 Global Jazz
A variety of jazz styles are promised as the weekly Global Jazz Café kicks off tonight at Jacob's Fine Dining in Modesto. The jazz club-oriented shows are geared to the age 35-and-older crowd and also feature a prix fix dinner in the dining room or a tapas menu in the showroom. The kickoff program features Jazzoni. Local, national and international groups have been booked to play the every-Friday shows, and jazz styles will range from swing, big band, smooth, Brazilian, Cuban, gypsy and more.

6 Super sleuth
Stage 3 Theatre presents "Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure," winner of the Edgar Award for Best Mystery Play. Steven Dietz adapted the show from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories "A Scandal in Bohemia" and "The Final Problem," plus a play written by Doyle and actor William Gillette. Stage 3 Artistic Director Don Bilotti stars as the famous detective.

7 Gospel concert
