A new gallery has opened in Sonora. Aloft Art Gallery, across the street from the Sonora Inn on Washington Street, features 47 artists from Modesto, Turlock, Sonora, Jamestown and other areas. Summer hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays. Call 588-8604.
