Ice Cube, 40, began his career in the 1980s in the band NWA, then launched a solo career with such albums as "Death Certificate," "War and Peace" and "Lethal Injection." He has starred in numerous movies, including 1992's "Boyz n the Hood," 1999's "Three Kings" and 2002's "Barbershop." Also performing at Summerfest are early 1990s rappers Candyman and Rodney O.

The 30th annual Moonlight Classic Drum and Bugle Corps competition draws some 1,500 participants between the ages of 12 and 21. This year's competition includes world champions the Blue Devils of Concord and Vanguard of Santa Clara. The Moonlight Classic is one of the preliminary competitions leading up to the world competition scheduled in August at Colt's Football Stadium in Indianapolis.
