Two screenings of the film, plus educational presentations on Modesto's historical connection and the film's impact; appearances by cast and crew; exhibits of local artifacts and "American Graffiti" memorabilia. Presentations and exhibits part of the day starts at 11 a.m. and is free. Screenings are at 7 and 10 p.m. Cost is $2.50; $1 off if dressed in period clothing. Weekend events at Modesto Junior College feature crafts, food, custom cars and rods, motorcycles and live music, including David J. Slate & the Rocket 88 Band and Johnny Rocket & The Thrust.
