Madoff looks like Washington

I had to laugh when you published "Toy maker offers a Bernie to Bash" (Feb. 17, Page B-4). Vicarious revenge! The question has been asked repeatedly why so many people asked so few questions, trusting Bernie Madoff for so long. Has anyone else noticed the striking similarity in the photo of Madoff and the classic portrait of George Washington? Maybe investors trusted him simply because he looks like the Father of our Country!
