Regarding "How to get insurance for all," (Oct. 27, Letters): Insurance is not socialistic. At least not in this country, yet. We still have the option in choosing to have insurance (except we must have insurance to drive). We have the option in choosing who insures us (if we even want insurance) and what benefits we hope to receive, whether it be life, medical, dental, legal or whatever.

I do not want the government to tell me that I must have their option of medical insurance. That is socialistic. I determine to have the unalienable right (God given, not government given) to choose what, where and how I live my life.

If the uninsured do not have insurance, they have options. Pay for it (like I do), go without it or work for someone who provides it for you. I do not want the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi (the liberal, statist left) telling me that I must have their government-run health care. That is socialism, and we must run from it or suffer the eventual consequences of the destruction of our Constitution. Watch out for the hidden agenda.
