Government has poor track record

No one can get an H1N1 flu shot. No vaccine available, even for nurses working in ERs.

If this is an example of government-run health care, we will all be in trouble when it happens. The government has proven again and again that it is an inefficient, poorly run and costly organization. We will all have insurance but treatment will be like flu vaccine — none available.

And how does it work that the $900 billion cost is going to be paid by Medicare savings? No one in Congress or the White House has explained how that can be done. If they think they can reduce payments to hospitals and doctors for Medicare patients, the care for Medicare patients will be like flu vaccine — None available.

Health care is needed for every citizen and Insurance reform is overdue but not run by the government. If the government would eliminate fraud and waste in every department and program, they could pay for insurance for the uninsured with no budget increase.
