Our government is planning to create public option health care to entice insurance companies to be more competitive. Anyone with half a brain knows that our government has never run anything cost efficiently or effectively. Private enterprise in our capitalistic system has given us and the world a healthier and longer life through research and innovation.

If a government bureaucracy becomes part of this, we will see a decline in this process. We can lower health care costs if we simply let insurers cross state lines, have tort reforms with caps on payouts and keep the government out of it!
