Recently, three Stanislaus County Superior Court judges visited Grace Davis High to conduct a panel discussion on the Bill of Rights with our senior government classes. The judges did this on their furlough day off. The students responded amazingly well to the discussion and were completely engaged and learned quite a lot about their rights and the criminal justice system.

Judges Ricardo Córdova,, Scott Steffen and Thomas Zeff gave their time, wisdom and expertise to create a very memorable learning experience. It is a tribute to their sense of community and service that these extremely busy men took time on their day off to help enlighten our students.

Judges Córdova,, Steffen and Zeff have already volunteered to go to Enochs and Downey high schools for their November and December furlough days.

We hope the students there are looking forward to their visit.
