Regarding "Study: Kids getting too little vitamin D" (Oct. 26, Page B-5): ) I was shocked to discover that many children and adults are not getting the needed amount of vitamin D. This article made me realize that vitamin D is very important.
The reason some are not getting enough vitamin D is probably that many don't have time to enjoy the simpler things in life, like playing outdoors with our children. We need to learn about the ways to help our children become healthier, and it starts with us.
