Medicare is a great public option

I receive Medicare and am grateful for it. Medicare is an example of "public option" in the health reform legislation.

To my surprise, 151 members of Congress are Medicare recipients including the "anti-option" crusaders, Sens. Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley and Jon Kyl. Their position shows the power of the lobbyists for the big drug makers who have deep pockets for legislators. Will Rogers was right: "We have the best Congress money can buy."
