No justice from law enforcement

My condolences to the Prescott family. As far as the Modesto Police Department, the sheriff's office and the morgue, you will see no justice from them. I speak from experience, having dealt with them after the death of my daughter, Jill Renee Thiel.

Any wrongdoings by them will never be prosecuted. They will not follow through with promised investigations. I believe my daughter was murdered in June 2005, not that she committed suicide. A man admitted his guilt to us all along. Acting District Attorney Carol Shipley said it was a suspicious case but she did nothing, and the lead detective promised an autopsy but none was done. We have no resolution or peace, thanks to Modesto law enforcement agencies.

Don't give up; take it as far as you can. Get help from outside Stanislaus County.

CAROLE M. THIEL
