Ugly roads mar Gallo arts center

I am a lifelong Modesto resident. While I am very pleased that Modesto has a new place for people to experience art in a whole new way, I remain awestruck at the lack of notice or attention to the three-mile radius of roadway this center encompasses.

The streets that surround the new center are new, but has anyone traveled Ninth Street between Modesto Junk and K Street? The road is in such disrepair, it is almost undrivable.

The left lane of G Street from Ninth Street up to 14th Street is in the same condition. It truly is doing damage to motor vehicles.

I am glad that Modesto has built such a beautiful place, but I can't believe that in order to get to this center, you must travel down any one of these run-down roads.
