I am so upset with the Modesto Police Department ignoring the request of the Neighborhood Watch group on Nelson Avenue.

We have had a meth house on this street for years and for some odd reason they never seem to take care of the problem. Homes and businesses on this street have had bullets in their windows, neighbors have had cars stolen in broad daylight and the street is like an all-night drug sale. Old people who live here are frightened and are afraid to go out at night.

More than 20 people have reported crimes on this street and these people are still there and have been for 16 years. Someone said they are working as informants while selling their drugs and are protected by the police. I am beginning to believe it!
