An article said that the valley has no influence in Sacramento anymore ("Valley legislators' influence dwindles in Sacramento," June 8, Page B-1). What can valley people expect when they elect people like Dave Cogdill, whose object is to collect a generous paycheck and a good state pension without doing anything to earn them?
George House would have made a better representative for the 14th Senate District in 2006, but he was discouraged because Cogdill already had all of the Republican campaign donations before House got started.
It would be a good time to split California into three states. The six southern California counties are populated by people who live in houses that builders built without having an adequate water source. San Francisco is populated by people who want to live a "gay" lifestyle. The only smart people we have left in California are those powerless people who live in the valley.
